This Tubbataha 2024 season is exceptional. So far, we have a 100% success rate for hammerhead sharks.

During the second day of the cruise, I was lucky enough to come across a tiger shark followed by a school of about twenty hammerhead sharks. The school of sharks was very deep, around 60m and more.

We had to change the dive site for the next day, but having seen the school of Hammerheads twice in a row in exactly the same place, I decided to try again the next morning with all the divers on a drop at exactly the same place.

What a success!! We were able to observe the Hammerheads in about thirty meters for 35 minutes… incredible !
