During this trip, Thomas will share with you his knowledge through presentations but also discussing, sharing stories and experiences, and answering your questions in a relax and friendly environment. As a dive instructor and underwater photographer, Thomas will also be with you underwater to find and show the right approach to have with sharks and other critters, and give you tips for your underwater photos.<\/p>\n

1- Learn about different species of shark during the live aboard : Thresher sharks, white tip reef sharks, cat sharks, hammerhead sharks, whale sharks, black tip sharks and others.<\/p>\n

2- Learn sharks behaviours, personalities and body language.<\/p>\n

3- Learn how to behave with sharks and optimize your approach.<\/p>\n

4- Learn about shark conservation and the latest efforts around the world.<\/p>\n

MALAPASCUA CAGAYANS WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF THOMAS VIGNAUD<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Conducted by a specialized Marine Biologist, Dr. Thomas Vignaud, this live aboard is a shark seminar with Seadoors on the special itinerary Malapascua-Cagayan 10D\/9N in the Philippines.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Thomas met his first sharks as a kid, and has been working with them for over 10 years, completing his PhD on sharks genetics.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He published several scientific papers, one of which has the largest sample size to date with 1022 shark genetic samples used.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He visited several countries to pursue his quest to better understand sharks, including the Bahamas, French Polynesia, New Caledonia, Fiji, Tuvalu, Oman and others. Thomas has spend thousands of hours with sharks underwater, especially bull sharks who became his specialty.<\/p>\n

The Cruise MALAPASCUA CAGAYAN is a special trip from Cebu. It combines the best dive site from Visayas as Malapascua with the Thresher Sharks, Balicasag, Cabilao cole to Bohol, The whale sharks in Oslob, Apo Island and the dive site of Cagayan archipelago located in the middle of Sulu Sea. This itinerary in open sea is a long navigation but is in the same time a gift given to the divers for the quality of the dives done.<\/p>\n

Tubbataha\u00a0<\/strong>Reefs Natural Park consists of two huge Atolls and Reefs : the Tubbataha North Atoll,The Tubbataha South atoll and in the NorthWest part, the Jessie Beazley Reef.<\/p>\n

THE SPECTACULAR TUBBATAHA PELAGICS, THE PLEASURE DIVING IN THE PHILIPPINES<\/h5>\n

Tubbataha is a protected area in the\u00a0Philippines<\/a>, in the middle of the\u00a0Sulu sea<\/strong>, and declared as a \u201cNo Take Zone\u201d and\u00a0World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.<\/a>\u00a0Dolphins, sharks, turtles, whales, and napoleon wrasses
will be observed during your diving liveaboard. There are 11 species of sharks, and 479 species of fish. Tubbataha has the largest concentration of white tip reef sharks
in the world.<\/p>\n

All these pelagic species are represented by tunas, jack fishes, barracudas, and as well as manta rays, hammerheads, silky sharks,\u00a0whale sharks<\/strong>\u2026 two species of turtles which are endangered.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
